Dr. Tonya Cannon is a distinguished professional whose career spans human resources, organizational development, education, and the entertainment industry. She is the Founder and Director of the FSEA Conference, a platform dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration among professionals in various fields.
Dr. Cannon earned her Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a specialization in Management Education from Capella University in 2014. She also holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Nazareth College of Rochester. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Communications, underscoring her commitment to continuous learning.
With over 30 years of experience in human resources and more than 25 years in the entertainment sector, Dr. Cannon has cultivated a diverse and robust professional background. She is the Founder and Director of the FSEA Conference, a platform dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration among professionals in various fields. Additionally, she serves as an Assistant Professor at Westcliff University, where her areas of expertise include Organizational Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration & Management, Human Resources Management, and Communication. Dr. Cannon is also an instructor at UCLA Extension, sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with a broader academic community.

In the entertainment industry, Dr. Cannon is an award-winning screenwriter, producer, and actor. Her credits include the feature film "Distortion," the web series "Officer Involved," and the short film "Sorry, Wrong Text." Her latest horror film, "Wiles," which she wrote and directed, is set for release soon.
